I read many of the negative reviews, but I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt and consider signing up for a membership. On July 10, 2026, at approximately 4:24 PM, I called the facility. If your calls are recorded, I encourage management to review the conversation. I was simply calling to ask whether, if I arrived before 6:00 PM, someone would be available to give me a tour of the facility. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple and welcoming interaction became unnecessarily difficult. The representative’s tone and overall demeanor were uninviting. At one point, I even had to remind her that I was calling as a prospective member interested in joining—not applying for a job or asking for a favor. As a business providing a premium service, I expected a much warmer and more customer-focused experience. The interaction became so unpleasant that I ended the call because I didn’t feel it was worth continuing the conversation. I’m actually glad I didn’t spend my time driving to the facility. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed that the negative reviews are not simply isolated complaints from members. Management may want to reevaluate its hiring practices an

Lifetime Franklin is a great place to work out. My husband and I are founding members and have had the opportunity to visit other Lifetime gyms as well. Facilities are great but the best thing about LT are the people. We take advantage of cardio, strength and yoga classes as well as personal training. I’m fortunate to have the absolute best trainer (Derrick) ever and he plans for my workout so I can achieve goals and stay healthy and strong. Some of our favorite classes are Barbell Strength with Hilary(3 X per week!) and my husband takes Simply Strength with Angie K and EDG with Hilary. The front desk folks(David)are great as well as Cafe(Gary). LT also has a great spa that makes it so convenient. Only downside is that it’s usually crowded as it’s a full service gym!

Today I visited this location with my physiotherapist, who is a member. He took me to see the facilities and showed me some exercises for my recovery from therapy. I loved all the facilities. What I didn't like was that a personal trainer approached my physiotherapist and told me I wasn't allowed to train there in that way. He wasn't training me; he was showing me some exercises so I could do my own routines. That trainer was very dismissive and unfriendly, to the point that we left before we finished. That detracts from the quality of service at the gym. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars

There was a “build your own parfait” setup in the lobby, and we saw several members already helping themselves. When my husband and I did the same, a staff member (who appeared to be part of leadership) abruptly called us out and said the booth wasn’t ready—using an intimidating tone. What stood out was the inconsistency: others were allowed to take parfaits without issue, but we were singled out. If the station wasn’t ready, a polite and consistent approach would have been expected. For a premium gym, the service should reflect professionalism and respect. This interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and reconsidering our membership.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Hot tubs stay dirty white ring around the entire tub. Have items gone missing and never returned, and staff never take the effort to help look. Somehow locker break ins only happen in the men’s locker room, they can never trace it. You might step on a used band-aid… anywhere.. Showers especially the family locker room terrible, you don’t want the kids in there trust me. Love some of the staff except the front desk could be more friendly inviting, at night as well!!! You’re better off at the newest locations like Buckhead , North Druid, or Dunwoody. They are a lot cleaner and accessible.
